The ASAP Yellow Fever also known as the 440 Fever or simply Fever, is a limited-production, high performance muscle car design and produced by Maverick Mann of ASAP(Advanced Systems And Performance. The Yellow Fever project took Three years to build and customize.

Designed and built for the independent film “Tucson on Ice” and based on the Dodge Challenger, the Yellow Fever features a modified, highly tuned and customized version of Dodge’s 1970 Challenger RT / SE 440 with a (NOS charged) eight cylinder engine, lightened body panels, an six point roll cage (adding chassis stiffness in addition to occupant safety), a custom pan hard rod 3 link suspension fabricated by Maverick Mann and a Porsche 928 modified Brembo 4 wheel disc brake system, a custom-designed manual reverse valve body 727 race transmission and several unique interior trim pieces such as custom instrument cluster of 10 gages and a full leather interior. The Yellow Fever has a 2 stage NOS system as well as the use of an electric header cut outs so that the 440 Mopar could run “un-capped” from an open header at the touch of a button .

With as much attention that was given to performance. Maverick wanted to maintain the old school effect of the Challenger’s styling considerations while keeping the stock and classic lines of the legendary muscle car in tact.

Developing 600 hp and 588 lb·ft of torque(Off of The NOS bottle) and weighing in it at 3,100 pounds, the Yellow Fever truly has real world muscle car performance, with a 0-60 mph time of around 4.7 seconds and a top speed in excess of 164 miles per hour making it one of the fast street Challengers in the country.

The Challenger received its nickname, "Yellow Fever", during a 2009 race at the Pamona Fairgrounds near Los Angeles by the track announcer, whose commented on how hot the car looked on the launching pad. Stating that “anyone running against the car would surely get ‘Yellow Fever’ from just looking at it.” Then it on and ran a 10: 38 in the ¼ Mile bracket winning it’s class and driving back to the ASAP design pavilion and not on the back of a trailer. Proving this the Yellow Fever is a true street machine and pure classic muscle car to boot.
